To glitter in the sun,

Hide in the shadows,

Or watch the clouds drift by, …

Perhaps what I craved,

To one day build,

Reach the stars, …

I love your eyes,

Smell,

Smile. …

Images can seem,

Larger than they are.

Like thoughts that arrive, …

How are you today,

She asked,

In her caring way. …

I too can shine,

Camouflaging myself,

With much everything, …

The essence inside her,

I feel,

But cannot perceive. …

On some days,

Signs that appear,

Make little sense. …

Today,

Not even fresh,

Spring flowers, …

Sometimes,

I stare at patterns,

Hoping they speak. …

Friendliness,

Comes in many forms.

One need only look, …

The sparkle,

Like dreams,

Beckons. …

Only with time,

Did I perceive,

The need for perspective, …

Language fluency,

In a foreign land,

Is at times not enough, …

Looking up at the sky,

It was hard not to smile.

Was the pilot confused, …

How hard,

To open up,

And let the world see, …

One can paint a story,

In many ways.

Dark and sad, …

Freedom day.

When I walked the road,

Clueless to where it led, …

Horse shoes and luck.

Somehow,

It’s what I recall. …

It’s time,

For you to bloom.

Live life, …
