Sunny days,

That soon will turn.

As leaves take wing, ...

Softer memories,

Waking with a rising sun.

As darkness evaporates, ...

Confusing days,

When it feels scratchy,

Crooked, and upside down, ...

Stacked,

Naked,

Silent. ...

Light,

Colors,

Imagination, and ...

Empty streets.

Cloudy skies.

Alone, ...

How does today feel?

Rusty,

Chalky, ...

Sunny days,

That wipe away fears,

Momentarily. ...

Exact,

Symmetrical,

Hard, ...

Stormy nights,

Clean cobwebs

From the past. ...

Lazy summer days,

Are a distant memory.

Hard work and dreams, ...

Temporary paths,

Leading to exotics roads,

Beckoning to be found. ...

Can’t feel you.

No longer know you.

You seem different. ...

Sometimes,

Unexpected pieces of us,

Give way, and ...

Look closely.

With eyes,

Devoid of images, ...

Tiredness and obsolescence,

Are finally here.

Used to be just a thought, ...

A cold and windy night.

Pitch dark,

Without a star in sight. ...

Flowers, metal, and concrete,

Blending under blue skies.

Just like people, ...

Days when little makes sense.

Lost in a world,

Where paths aren’t clear. ...

“Thank you…”

For playing with me.

Helping me feel needed, ...
