They’re not meant to harm.

Just there to help.

In case in the dead of night, ...

I’m rusty,

Dirty,

And tired. ...

One of the world’s

Most amazing wonders…

They give food, ...

Late afternoons,

When I arrived home.

And you, ...

Let me drown today,

In you.

Feel numb, ...

Sunny spring days

Have returned.

Yet fields are empty. ...

No hugs today.

Something’s in the air.

Can’t figure it out. ...

Feeling stained.

Scratched.

Cracking up. ...

Cloudy spring mornings,

When days were calm, and

Sunday strolls by the beach, ...

Even in these turbulent times,

A few in the village,

Care enough, ...

Daily tools,

For bread and rent.

Cared for and cherished, ...

Determined,

Energetic,

On a mission. ...

Deposit coin,

Select,

Sit back, ...

Smiling,

For the world to see.

But no one’s around. ...

Old,

And still functional.

Shopping, ...

Tough days,

Now long gone.

Stories abound. ...

Bloomed a few days ago.

But already spent.

Burnt by a cold spell. ...

Grow tall and strong,

Young one.

Play. ...

The world’s full of things,

Hard to understand.

Unexpected. ...

Leaving,

This shore.

Closing, ...
