No one else.

Life seems hazy,

But I only have eyes for you:

Freckles,

Hair in disarray,

Standing there,

Silent.

I know there are others.

My eyes see.

My mouth speaks.

Old patterns click.

But I can’t feel.

Not them.

Not today.

Just you.
