#2991 – Walnuts
We planted the trees,
Somewhat against his wish.
“They will not thrive here”,
He said with concern.
But I was naïve,
Full of joy and belief,
So we planted two,
And waited to see.
Years have since passed,
The trees now towering,
On that arid land.
Perhaps dreams,
Are no different,
When planted with belief,
Happiness and faith.
