#2958-Grumpy
My father often told me,
Not to take life seriously.
It was not something,
I could readily understand,
Until years had passed,
And I began looking back,
Through different eyes.
Why back then,
I couldn’t comprehend,
Is not a mystery,
But the natural path,
That needs time,
To unwind and be seen,
Before it can be traveled,
By eyes that perceive.
