#2846-Misbelief
Days when life,
Seems to flow sideways,
As expectations loudly echo,
Pointing the way,
To places I’ve been,
Yet no longer crave.
Days when engrained beliefs,
Swirl in my mind,
As green pastures,
Silently beckon,
Yet I refuse to understand.
How hard it is,
On those seeming,
Ordinary days,
To step over the tracks,
Forget life’s wishes,
And the kind,
So time may steal away,
Those self-created burdens,
That keep peace at bay.
