#3096 – Perspective
In winter’s cold breeze,
Under blue skies,
The trees swayed,
In the frozen field.
Standing tall,
Roots intertwined,
To share and keep warm,
In the common land.
Covered with ice,
With nothing to conceal,
Without a care,
As humans think.
And as cars drove by,
Oblivious to the world,
Living in their minds,
They wondered why,
It was so difficult,
For them to understand.
